Shims - Road Starter Pack - The Steve Hogg Bike Fitting Team

These are the original Steve Hogg Shims. A significant percentage of riders have a functional or measurable difference in leg length. This doesn’t allow both legs to be equally fluent and powerful unless the difference is compensated for by shimming the cleat of the shorter leg. Each Road Starter Pack now includes three 2 mm shims with all necessary fixing screws for a 2 mm, 4 mm, or 6 mm shim stack and instructions. Speedplay compatible shims come with screw lengths to suit Walkable cleats. If you are still using the older V2 Speedplay cleats, let us know and we’ll include the correct type and length of screws.
